SHARED WARDROBE is an inclusive community, website, and app that connects women who need clothing for the workplace with women who would like to donate theirs. To be able to shop the SW site, you need to be working an entry-level job in Auckland CBD. Enabling women to find workwear on one platform for free provides an easy solution to the unrealistic pressures of constantly trying to afford corporate upkeep.
Women supporting women, the platform will help females to feel confident and empowered through their dress choices. SHARED WARDROBE, in turn, hopes that this instilled confidence will encourage promotions and career progression. SW is also a circular sustainable model that will relieve Aoetearoa's growing textile waste contribution.
