The project reform works to address the prevalent issue of gender bias embedded in workplace design that traditionally serves the dominant cis-gendered male perspective. This bias in the workplace often fails to meet the requirements and needs of minority genders, contributing to discomfort, exclusion, and inequity within these spaces. reform aims to transform these 'standardised' norms through an inclusive, user-friendly digital platform that allows employers and employees to co-create workspaces that suit everyone. Using the Standford Design Thinking Methodology, the project follows five stages: Empathise, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, supported by specific tools to develop reform. Ultimately, reform introduces a collaborative web-based application where users can customise their workspace layouts suited to their needs. This project aims to inspire workplace culture to become adept at inclusivity, equity, and diversity by offering solutions that have the potential to address each individual's requirements.
