Exploring how a digital platform can add value to popular music offerings?
Research process:
The conduction of this study was to assess the value popular music added to the digital market. I used a double diamond framework with a descriptive and mixed-method approach. In the discover phase, I conducted interviews with individuals in the NFT field and conducted secondary research to gain a better understanding of the NFT and music consumption market at this point. During the define phase, I concentrated on establishing the project’s scope. I wanted to figure out what the major problem was (HMWs) and what the key user behaviors were (Personas). I also used prototyping as a research tool as well as in the prototyping phase to define the problem for the brief and to gain insights.
Design
The research I had collected allowed me to create a high-fidelity web prototype, displaying a music NFT marketplace. ‘slice’ was designed to explore and display the exclusivity within a popular music space, ultimately being a solution that adds value.
