Conceived in response to a stark insight—Female representation within the creative sector is significantly lacking—'Reflective Ripple' tackles the issue of gender bias and underrepresentation in a multifaceted industry. Female creators often encounter barriers to leadership roles, limited career opportunities, and persistent pay disparities. A culture of exclusion exacerbates the problem. Unconscious bias and microaggressions are left unaddressed, leaving female employees feeling undervalued and disconnected. In today's diverse workplace, fostering inclusivity is challenging due to these issues.
This project addresses these challenges by developing an app for anonymous feedback submission, focusing on positive and negative diversity and inclusion-related workplace experiences, with a primary focus on addressing the lack of a safe feedback mechanism and unconscious bias.
