QueerCoded+ is an annual workshop for queer creatives aspiring to enter the games industry and is based in Auckland, Aotearoa. It will feature activities such as presentations by industry experts, game trials by indie game developers or studios, sub-workshops dedicated to certain aspects of game design, as well as opportunities for connection, whether it’s by asking industry experts questions or making friends with similar interests.

Relating to the nature of this project, it is important to mention that I fall within the intersection of being a queer woman of colour from a middle class upbringing. I acknowledge the inherent biases that come with this position.
