Global warming and its associated impacts, rising sea levels and changing oceanic conditions in these years, pose a significant threat to the delicate ecosystems inhabited by wildlife. Among the most vulnerable species are the Kororā Little Blue Penguins, found in coastal regions in New Zealand. These small creatures are confronting numerous challenges due to the changing climate.

In response to this pressing issue, a mobile app named "Kororā" has been developed. This mobile app for protecting Little Blue Penguins could be a valuable tool for raising awareness, engaging the public, and facilitating conservation efforts. It provides educational resources about penguin behaviour and the impacts of global warming, and opportunities for donation and online penguin adoption in New Zealand.

This project is designed to popularise the impact of global warming on Little Blue Penguins and to provide more profitable management of New Zealand's nature reserves. To provide a travel guide for visitors to the South Island and Little Blue Penguin enthusiasts, and to improve the communication platform for Little Blue Penguin enthusiasts.

The main targeted users of the app are penguin enthusiasts and tourists in New Zealand. Stakeholders can include nature conservation organisations, wildlife enthusiasts, educational institutions, local communities, and tour operators.
